This year, Boxing Day will be more than just a holiday—it will be a celebration of love, unity, and inclusion for children who deserve to feel special. The M-Lock Foundation, known for its heartfelt outreach programs and street feeding initiatives, is set to host a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for orphans.
Unlike previous outreaches focused solely on donations, this event aims to bring children from selected orphanages together for a day of fun, music, games, and celebration—outside the walls they’re used to.
“We don’t want it to feel like we’re always just delivering food and leaving,” said founder Merdarlock. “This time, we’re inviting them out, to show them they’re not forgotten. They’re part of this world. They matter.”
The highlight of the event will be a live performance by a guest artist, who will entertain the children with music and energy, helping them feel the joy that every child deserves during the festive season. There will also be interactive games, team challenges, dancing, and shared meals—all in a vibrant and welcoming setting.
“We want them to laugh, play, make friends, and feel like every other child celebrating Christmas,” Merdarlock added.
This initiative reflects M-Lock Foundation’s evolving vision—not just to feed or donate, but to connect, celebrate, and restore dignity to vulnerable children across Ghana. It’s about giving time, attention, and shared experiences, not just material things.
The event will take place on December 26, 2025, and will welcome orphans from various homes in Accra and nearby communities. Volunteers, donors, and supporters are invited to take part—either by joining the event or contributing to its success.
“Sometimes, what a child needs most isn’t a gift—it’s a moment of happiness they’ll remember forever.”
